Came here for lunch we got gyoza, kani salad, and the three roll lunch special that came with a soup or salad. Everything was very good and fresh and served quickly. The service was great and prompt. Definitely a regular sushi spot in town perfect for take out or if you want to stop in!
How does this place have 3.5 stars?? That's bonkers. I am new to WeHa and I've been looking for my go to sushi place. This is it! Reasonable price, great selection, and their rice... It's freaking ppppppeeeerrrrfrfeecccttt. Definitely a take out spot - a bit dark inside but 100% treat yourself to the west hartford roll. It's perfection.
I come here every time I am in town for this sushi. It is the best I have had in WeHa, as well as all of CT. The last two times have been for takeout, and the sushi is just as fresh (and large portions!) as if I ate in the restaurant. Now I am pretty basic when it comes to sushi but would highly recommend the spicy tuna (lots of tuna, perfect amount of spice), sweet potato roll (don't knock it til you try it- SO unique) and the pink lady roll. I'm already thinking about my next meal from here.
I have been coming here for years and the sushi is good, inexpensive and this place is walking distance from where I live. They reopened a few weeks ago, so I was excited to get my sushi fix by ordering take out. They were practicing social distancing.... no one was allowed inside. You signed your order and they brought it out to you. I ordered a bunch of rolls, shu mai (we loved the steamed!), rock shrimp and a chicken yaki udon. We got some special roll with octopus and it was our FAVORITE. The rock shrimp has tempura batter and there was a piece of asparagus inside. It wasn't my favorite due to personal preference (I like when it has the spicy mayo and this had a spicy soy sauce), but my boyfriend liked it. We also probably won't order the chicken yaki udon again as it was way too sweet for us. However we'll always come back here as our go to sushi place! I can't wait to come back.
First time going here and I ate very well! We were seated immediately and our server was kind. My friend and I enjoyed all of our sushi rolls! The gyoza was AMAZING, perfectly cooked. The dining area was clean with the perfect amount of lighting. Can't wait to go back! But, entrance area can use a remodel as it looks a little unkempt. I do wish parking was better here as it's on a main road with a very small lot.
